Welcome to my homepage!
I am a Tenure-track Associate Professor at the Institute of Natural Sciences and the School of Mathematical Sciences at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
I was a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of California, Irvine, working with Prof. Katya Krupchyk in 2024-2025.
I was a postdoctoral scholar in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Washington, Seattle, working with Prof. Gunther Uhlmann in 2020-2024.
I received my Ph.D. in Mathematics from Purdue University, where I was advised by Prof. Plamen Stefanov.
I am a member of the Inverse Problems International Association (IPIA).
Research interest
My primary research interests are inverse problems arising in imaging sciences as well as in various areas of physics and engineering, including
- Inverse problems in Lorentzian manifolds.
- Inverse problems for nonlinear hyperbolic equations.
- Inverse problems arising in nonlinear acoustic imaging.
- Inverse problems for integral transforms arising in medical imaging.
- Rayleigh waves and Stoneley waves in linear elasticity.
Here is a description of my research.
